The Brent Civic Centre was a development next to Wembley stadium with an innovative design allowing for minimal fire compartmentation and larger open spaces for employees to work in, a large atrium entrance (30 metres width and depth by approximately 11m height) and a new large theatre style chamber. Paul was one of the LFB team working directly with the architectural design team and client to look at the use of a revolutionary water mist system and engineered life-safety systems to protect the building and accommodate its somewhat radical design.
