Under current fire safety legislation, every organisation must carry out – or appoint a competent person to conduct – a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment to identify and deal with any threats to the safety of their employees and any others who may be affected.  Failure to carry this out could result in a fine, imprisonment, or both. It would also very likely invalidate your buildings insurance policy, leaving you fully responsible for liabilities and damage repairs.

As part of current fire regulations, you are responsible for ensuring that any persons appointed to assist you are competent to carry out the role.  A person is regarded as competent where they have sufficient training and experience, or knowledge and other qualities to enable them to properly assist in undertaking the preventive and protective measures required.

For peace of mind, Freya can provide you with trained and qualified assessors who have in-depth experience gained with the Fire and Rescue Services, as well as being accredited by the Institute of Fire Engineers.

Combined with a thorough knowledge of fire safety issues and the Regulations, you won’t need to be concerned should the Fire Service visit your premises.  You will have confidence that your fire safety arrangements will meet their requirements.

Meanwhile our comprehensive report and other fire-related documentation will provide you with a cost-effective package while meeting the national standards that are there to protect the people and premises under your care.
